Tom Ward officially founded Sandstorm Films in 2000, but the journey began over a decade prior during his early childhood.
Tom’s vision was simple: build industry-leading facilities, equipped with the very best cinema-quality cameras and lights and a full-time core team who are all hands-on experts in their field.
This unique – and brave – approach gave clients for the first time a facility to produce branded content that would match their flagship above-the line campaigns but at a much lower cost and shorter turnaround time.
Today, along with offices in London and New York, Sandstorm Films produce over 80% of their work from this custom-built facility just 40 minutes from Heathrow airport and Tom continues to direct campaigns as well as act as Managing Director of the company.
